Almost all of the Old Testament Sites mentioned in the Bible are located in the Eastern or South Eastern Turkey which may also be called Northern Mesopotamia. Mt. Ararat (Agri Dagi) where Noah's ark has landed is far in the east near the Turkish / Armenian / Iranian borders. Harran Abraham's town is in the south east in Edessa (Modern Sanliurfa)
New Testament sites like the Seven Churches of Revelation are all located in the Central, Western or Southern Turkey. Early Christians hid in the caves of Cappadocia. The sites covered by St. Paul and St. Peter are in the South West of Mediterranean Turkey. House of Virgin Mary and Church of St. John is in Ephesus. Church of St. Nicholas is in Myra near Antalya.
