Erdoba Mansions takes its names from Asur age. Mardin's name was arz-dobe in the asur age. In other words it was holy place. Each two mansions are registered by the Livings of Nature Committee.

Erdoba Mansions is a boutique hotel complex consists of two mansions. Mansions are named as top and ground mansions. Top mansion is a mansion get done by Şahtene (Şatana) family in 1878. Same family had lived in this mansion until boutique hotel construction. Mansion had a changes because of opening main street in 1930s. It has lost about 40 cm in North side. Today a side is existing in the east as the side using like hotel. And mansion is parted to two part with property announcement in 1930s. East part had began worked as elementary school in a period of time. Application had been compared with its original situation while restoration was being done. Extra units are planned in courtyard. Specially all of the social activities of hotel are done in top mansion.

Ground mansion consists of three parts. Ground part of the mansion is guessed that it was built in 1300s. Middle part was built in 1890s and top part was built in 1915s. It is understood from the inscriptions on stones in middle part of the mansion that this mansion is belong and built by Ensari family. And it is known that it was used as courthouse in the end of 19. century. It had been used by owners for 15 years before restoration. The mansion gainned to Mardin silhouette with its original appereance has 12 rooms and each room is designed with different plan. An interesting side of the mansion is floor of the ceiling. It has built with 3 different floor. These are crosswise vault, wooden beam, volta floor.
