<p><strong>Day 2 Wednesday ZAGREB &#8211; PLITVICE</strong></p>
<p>Morning city tour of Zagreb, including the fortified Upper Town, city&#8217;s historical center, St Mark&#8217;s Church with its multicoloured roof, the Cathedral, Croatian National Theatre and University. Afternoon departure for Plitvice. Dinner and overnight in Plitvice.</p>
<p><strong>Day 3 Thursday - PLITVICE</strong></p>
<p>After breakfast, we tour Plitvice Lakes National Park on the UNESCO&#8217;s List of World Natural Heritage. Sixteen lakes, each at the different level, are joined in a series of cascading waterfalls. Surrounded by dense wood Plitvice Lakes are a natural phenomenon of a rare and unique beauty. Dinner and overnight in Plitvice.</p>
<p><strong>Day 4 Friday PLITVICE &#8211; TROGIR &#8211; SPLIT</strong></p>
<p>Morning departure for Trogir where we visit the Cathedral of St Lawrence. Continuation to Split; city tour of Split, including Diocletian&#8217;s Palace on the UNESCO&#8217;s List of World Cultural Heritage with Peristyle, Jupiter&#8217;s Temple and the Cathedral. Dinner and overnight in Split.</p>
<p><strong>Day 5 Saturday SPLIT &#8211; DUBROVNIK</strong><br />
After breakfast, departure for Dubrovnik. Sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik, included on UNESCO&#8217;s List of World Cultural Heritage. You will visit Franciscan Monastery with Europe&#8217;s third oldest pharmacy, Rector&#8217;s Palace and the Cathedral. Dinner and overnight in Dubrovnik.</p>

Bey and visit to the National Museum representing the flow of Albanian History and housing the finds from<br />
archeological sites across the country. Afternoon departure to Ohrid driving via Elbasan and crossing the Macedonian<br />

<p><strong>Day 4 Wednesday OHRID  (km 60)</strong></p>
<p>Full day in lakeside resort Ohrid classified as UNESCO`s World Cultural Heritage site. Through the activity<br />
of St. Clement and St Naum of Ohrid, the first pan-Slavic University in Europe ,the famous&#8221; Ohrid Literary<br />
School&#8221; was founded here. Morning sightseeing tour includes the church of St Sofia(11.th century)<br />
the most eminent medieval monument in Macedonia with magnificent Byzantine fresco paintings and<br />
St Clement Church with its icon of Annunciation.<br />
Afternoon short drive to visit to St Naum Monastery built on the shores of the Ohrid Lake in 900 A.D.<br />
dedicated to the Slavic missionary and educator St. Naum of Ohrid. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.</p>
<p><strong>Day 5 Thursday OHRID &#8211; SKOPJE  (km 180)</strong></p>
<p>Morning departure to Skopje. Sightseeing tour of Skopje including the Kale Fortress, Church of the Holy<br />
Savior with its iconostas, one of the finest samples of traditional walnut woodcarving, Old bazaar and<br />
Stone Bridge. We drive to the slopes of the Vodno Mountain where we visit the Monastery of St Panteleimon<br />
With its 12 century iconostas and frescoes ranking among the highest achievements of Byzantine art of<br />

<p><strong>Day 6 Friday SKOPJE &#8211; KOLASIN /Montenegro  (km 300)</strong></p>
<p>Morning departure to Kolasin , driving via Pec and Berane and along the impressive Moraca River<br />
Canyon. Afternoon arrival at Kolasin , spreading on the left bank of the river Tara, situated at 954 m<br />
altitude. The whole area is surrounded by the thick pine forest of the Bjelasica Mountain and is a popular<br />
skiing and air spa resort . Dinner and overnight in Kolasin.</p>
<p><strong>Day 7 Saturday KOLASIN &#8211; CETINJE &#8211; KOTOR &#8211; DUBROVNIK  (km 265)</strong></p>

political center of Montenegro and the King Nicholas Museum, once residence of the Montenegrian King<br />

We tour its elegant Bridge, Old Bazaar, the Mosque and a typical Turkish house. Continuation to Sarajevo. Afternoon city tour of Sarajevo, including Bašèaršija, Gazi Husref Bey Mosque and Tunnel War Museum. Dinner and overnight in Sarajevo.</p>
<p><strong>Day 3 Tuesday SARAJEVO &#8211; ZAGREB</strong></p>

Meet in hotel lobby with the tour guide to begin the sightseeing excursion with a visit to Memphis, ancient capital of Egypt dating from 3100 BC which contains the beautiful representation of King Ramsis II through his colossal statue. Then proceed to Sakkara to see the world-famous Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the oldest known of Egypt&#8217;s 107 Pyramids. At the Pyramids area, visit the Three Pyramids built for Pharaohs Cheops, Chephren &amp; Mycerinus on the Giza Plateau and the mysterious Sphinx. Return to Cairo with the evening at leisure. (Optional Nile Dinner Cruise can be included). Overnight in Cairo.<br />

DAY 03 &#8211; Tour to Citadel and Egyptian Museum: </strong><br />
On todays tour visit the Egyptian Museum, then the Citadel Of Saladin with its Alabaster Mosque and the Tomb of Ottoman ruler Mohamed Ali. The excursion also includes touring around the Old Cairo area where you can find a mixture between the Islamic and Christian Monuments such as the Abu Serga Church, Al Mo&#8217;allaqa Church or Hanging Church which are dated back to the beginning of the 5th Century AD and are built as the basilica style. DAY 02 &#8211; Pyramids and Sphinx, train to Aswan: </strong><br />
Breakfast at hotel then meet with the guide and start the days tour with a visit to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt dating from 3100 BC which contains the beautiful representation of King Ramsis II through his colossal statue. Then proceed to Sakkara where we will see the world-famous Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the oldest known of Egypt&#8217;s 107 Pyramids. At the Pyramids area, visit the Three Pyramids built for Pharaohs Cheops, Chephren &amp; Mycerinus on the Giza Plateau and the mysterious Sphinx. After the tour, transfer on to Cairo Rail Station for departure on overnight train to Aswan. Overnight onboard train in sleeper car (dinner included).<br />
<strong><br />
DAY 03 &#8211; Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor: </strong><br />
On arrival to Aswan Rail Station meet for transfer to board the Nile Cruise. Embarkation before lunch. Then depart with the tour guide to visit the High Dam, one of the biggest dams in the world and was an engineering miracle when it was built in the 1960&#8242;s. Then proceed to the Unfinished Obelisk, a huge obelisk incompletely carved &#8211; 41 meters high &#8211; that shows the techniques the ancient Egyptians used in carving obelisks. Afterwards move on to visit the Philae Temple which was dedicated to goddess Isis. It&#8217;s now reassembled at a new site on Agilika Island about 500km from its former site on Philae Island. (If time allows, additional/alternative morning excursions can be added to Abu Simbel or a felucca ride to view Elephantine Island, the Plantation &#8220;Kitcheners&#8221; Island and Agha Khan Mausoleum). Overnight onboard Nile Cruise.<br />
<strong><br />
DAY 04 &#8211; Kom Ombo and Edfu: </strong><br />
The cruise sails to Kom Ombo &amp; upon arrival visit The Temple of Sobek &amp; Haroeris, dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek. The temple stands at a bend in the Nile where in ancient times sacred crocodiles basked in the sun on the river bank. Return to the cruise &amp; sail to Edfu. On arrival visit the Temple of Horus, the largest and most complete preserved Temple combining Pharaonic and Greek architectures. Overnight onboard cruise.<br />
<strong><br />
DAY 05 &#8211; Luxor and the West Bank: </strong><br />
Sail to Esna and Luxor. Upon arrival to Luxor, move to the West Bank of the Nile to visit the Valley of Kings &amp; Queens, a vast City of the dead where magnificent tombs were carved into the desert rocks and filled with treasures for the afterlife by generations of Pharaohs. Then proceed to the foot of the cliff to see the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only woman who ruled Egypt in Pharaonic History. On the way back to the River Nile, your road passes by the famed Colossi of Memnon, known in Ancient Greek times for their haunting voices at dawn. Return back to cruise and evening at leisure. Overnight onboard cruise.<br />
<strong><br />
DAY 06 &#8211; Sleeper train from Luxor to Cairo: </strong><br />
After breakfast it is time to disembark from the cruise (around 10am). You will then have free time at leisure in Luxor until the early evening (around 8pm) before transfer to the Luxor Rail Station for departure on the overnight sleeper train to Cairo. Overnight onboard train, dinner included. -Optional extra excursion to visit Luxor Temple &amp; Karnak Temple is also available if you wish.<br />

DAY 07 &#8211; Day at leisure in Cairo: </strong><br />
Arrival back in Cairo around 6am and meet for transfer to the hotel and check-in. Rest of day is then free at leisure for you to explore further on your own or you can include an extra optional excursion to visit the Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo including the Citadel. Overnight Cairo.<br />

Arrival early morning to Luxor Railway Station and meet for transfer to board the Nile Cruise. The guide will then take you on a tour to visit the Temple of Luxor dedicated to the god Amun which is also known for its pillars that take the form of a bundle of Papyrus. Then proceed to the Temple of Karnak, built over more than a thousand years by generations of Pharaohs. Return back to the cruise. Overnight onoboard Nile Cruise.<br />

DAY 04 &#8211; West Bank Tour </strong><br />
After breakfast onboard start the tour by crossing to the West Bank of the Nile to visit the Valley of Kings, a vast &#8220;City of the Dead&#8221; where magnificent tombs were carved and filled with treasures for the afterlife. Then proceed to the foot of the cliff, to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only woman who ruled Egypt in Pharaonic History. On the way back to the River Nile, your road passes by the famed Colossi of Memnon. Return to cruise and sail to Esna. Overnight onboard.<br />

DAY 05 &#8211; Touring to Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples: </strong><br />
Sail to Edfu and on arrival visit the Temple of Horus, the largest and most complete preserved Pharoanic Temple that combines Pharaonic &amp; Greek architectures. Return to Cruise and sail for Kom Ombo where you visit the Temple of Sobek &amp; Haroeris. The temple stands at a bend in the Nile where in ancient times sacred crocodiles basked in the sun on the river bank.<br />

DAY 06 &#8211; High Dam, Philae Temple in Aswan: </strong><br />
Sail for Aswan where on arrival you visit the High Dam which was an engineering miracle when it was built in the 1960s. Then move to Philae Temple which was dedicated to goddess Isis. It is now reassembled on Agilika Island about 500km from its former site at Philae Island. Afternoon take a Felucca Ride to view Elephantine Island that contains relics of stone temples of various eras. Also visit Plantation (Kitchener) Island which lies in a mild-stream near Elephantine Island and combines a natural exhibition of exotic plants and trees imported from all over the world. Overnight onboard Nile Cruise.<br />

DAY 07 &#8211; Free day or optional extra tour to Abu Simbel: </strong><br />
Breakfast onboard and then time to disembark. The day is free at leisure until the early evening transfer to Aswan Railway Station to board the overnight train for return to Cairo. Overnight onboard sleeper train, dinner included. (Domestic flights can also be used if preferred)<br />

It comprises the world&#8217;s greatest collection of Ancient Egyptian Artifacts. Then on to visit the Citadel Of Saladin, a spectacular medieval fortress dating from 12th century and perched on a hill above the city. Also located in the Citadel are the Alabaster Mosque and Tomb of the Ottoman ruler, Mohamed Ali. At the end of your tour proceed to the Khan El Khalily Bazaar which is one of the earliest and greatest markets in the Middle East &amp; contains stores that exhibit wonderful collections of jewelry, wooden products &amp; attractive hand-made products. DAY 02 &#8211; Tours to Giza Pyramids and Sphinx: </strong><br />
Breakfast at hotel then meet with the guide and start the days tour with a visit to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt dating from 3100 BC which contains the beautiful representation of King Ramsis II through his colossal statue. Then proceed to Sakkara where we will see the world-famous Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the oldest known of Egypt&#8217;s 107 Pyramids. At the Pyramids area, visit the Three Pyramids built for Pharaohs Cheops, Chephren &amp; Mycerinus on the Giza Plateau and the mysterious Sphinx. After the tour, transfer on to Cairo Rail Station for departure on the overnight train to Aswan. Overnight onboard sleeper train, dinner included. DAY 03 &#8211; Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor: </strong><br />
On arrival to Aswan Rail Station meet for transfer to board the Nile Cruise. Embarkation before lunch. Then depart with the tour guide to visit the High Dam, one of the biggest dams in the world and was an engineering miracle when it was built in the 1960&#8242;s. Then proceed to the Unfinished Obelisk, a huge obelisk incompletely carved &#8211; 41 meters high &#8211; that shows the techniques the ancient Egyptians used in carving obelisks. Afterwards move on to visit the Philae Temple which was dedicated to goddess Isis. It&#8217;s now reassembled at a new site on Agilika Island about 500km from its former site on Philae Island. (If time allows, additional/alternative morning excursions can be added to Abu Simbel or a felucca ride to view Elephantine Island, the Plantation &#8220;Kitcheners&#8221; Island and Agha Khan Mausoleum). DAY 04 &#8211; Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples: </strong><br />
The cruise sails to Kom Ombo &amp; upon arrival visit The Temple of Sobek &amp; Haroeris, dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek. At Delphi lies the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Visit the Treasury of the Athenians, Temple of Apollo and the Museum containing such masterpieces of Ancient Greek sculpture as the bronze Charioteer and athlete Aghias. 19:00 Approx arrival back to Athens after the full day tour</p>
